There is work to integrate mediawiki with elgg that is scheduled to come into fruition by the end of this week. I have heard no discussion of elgg and typo2. Check the elgg-developers google group: http://elgg-development.googlegroups.com

Hi everyone,
I am new in elgg. Can anyone tell me how i can integrate "typo3" & "elgg".I am intrested to integrate "wiki" , "typo3" & "elgg". Please help me & give me the guidence regarding that.

The elgg team is refining the interface. One by one features are coming on-line.

Here's the developers' blogs. It's pretty technical, yet interesting.

I just got permission to take screenshots of the new elgg 1.0. Look for some previews within the next 24 hours on my blog.

I'm currently beta testing elgg 1.0 as a user on their internal development site. They are actively squashing bugs as we find them.

I really like what I see. I just asked the developers if I could post screenshots on my blog. Hopefully, it won't be an issue.

They still claim 10 days before release. I imagine it will still be beta. I can't wait to get my hands on the code and try out the new admin interface!

Hey, ironically, I just installed elgg after waiting, waiting, waiting for 1.0 because I had some teachers that had gone to a workshop this summer at the Smithsonian and had used ning. They wanted to use it with their students but I was concerned about some of the public ning groups that might not be appropriate for students.

Elgg seemed to be a perfect option for the administrators, teachers, and students to interact in the myspace/facebook/ning manner but still allow me to afford some level of security and control.
I hate sounding like a network nazi but am always trying to find the balance in new technology/access for students and the requirements of my position to provide a safe computing environment.

We are about to take a group of teachers to the Building Learning Communities conference with Alan November in Boston and will be using our elgg site to document/collaborate about the conference before opening it up for my school district.

I am glad I happened upon this group.
