Hello all, I'm Ninette Beheler. I learned so much at the ISTE conference that I didn't even have time to go to the Alamo! At any rate, I now am the proud owner of a ning and I've been visiting SL in the safe, friendly, ISTE environment. I'm interested in creating an online portfolio for my students this year. A friend of mine recommended shutterfly for this. What do you think?

Hello, I am Joleen Thordson and I am a technology specialist at a private school outside of St. Paul, MN. This is my first attempt at social networking or any of the Web 2.0 stuff. I attended a great workshop at NECC called WEB 2.0 All-you-can-eat Buffett and learned a ton! The NECC conference in San Antonio was my first such conference and I had a great time and learned a lot. I am looking for ways to integrate Web 2.0 into my classroom and find ways for my staff to as well! Any suggestions would be welcomed!

Hi, I am the Tech Coordinator at a small (190 students) K-8 school in Lyme NH. I didn't make it to NECC this year but am interested in several of the groups I found here.

I am Denise Krefting, Educational Technologist for Heartland Area Educational Agency in Johnston, Iowa serving schools in central Iowa. We are doing lots of 21st Century trainings in Iowa schools due to the addition of 21st Century Skill into the Iowa Core Curriculum. The learning at NECC 08 was timely as we have schools interested in mobile learning and presentation at NECC really helped. I am expecting more great things in 09.

I'm in Chicagoland where it is now a balmy -2 degrees without windchill. I have been at NECC for the past three consecutive years, and will be attending NECC 2009 in Washington. DC. I'm looking to get back into technology in education as a tech director, consultant, etc... I am doing a poster session at the ICE conference at the end of February.

I am the Web Business Manager for mimio, a small company that makes interactive technology products for the classroom. Prior to this gig I created and ran TeacherVision.com and prior to that I was a teacher for 20+ years. In my heart, I am still a teacher and that's why I love to go to NECC. As a matter of fact, even though I have been out of the classroom for over ten years, I have a dream about once every week or so in which I am teaching in a classroom. What does that mean???
